67th Aerial Port Squadron, Walnut Trophy

This walnut trophy was presented to the 67th Aerial Port Squadron by Richard Neeley in honor of those members of the squadron who deployed in 2011. The trophy is all walnut with a natural finish and took over 100 hours of dedicated labor. Richards helpers included Bruce Koster, Paul Giles, and Wendell Cloward.

The Website is Coming Around the Corner

Just a little more work and the President will have the new website up and running. Thanks for being patient.

Website Under Construction

Woodcarvers, Thank you for your patience while our website goes through a major upgrade!!! To silence a few rumors; No! The President is not dead, Yes! Your pictures have been saved and Whatever! If you don’t like the speed your President is moving at to get the website up and running . . . I guarantee you will not like his ‘other’ speed. Keep carving you guys and I’ll keep working on this blasted website. Stay Sharp!!!

Ken Giles Carving on Days of 47 Parade Float

Hey Carvers! Keep your eyes on the parade, Friday, and watch for the float Ken Giles helped to carve. I believe it is the 42nd entry in the parade this Friday the 24th. Take a look at Ken’s Album for an up-close look at his handy work. He says that the team of workers on the float were truly amazing from design to finished float. Congradulations on a Float-Well-Done!!!

That’s What Happens When You’re Not Paying Attention

The President messed up Big Time! He’s just finished uploading the remaining six newsletters for 2008. Finally! Well, one things for certain – – He hasn’t gotten any duller. The newsletters are a Hoot! Sorry we couldn’t have gotten those to you sooner. Now the Big Challenge is the newsletters for 2009! Hey, President, you’re already 5 months behind. Set you knife down for a few minutes and scribble out the rest of those that you owe us. We love the humor and like to see pictures of our fellow woodcarvers and to hear about what they’re doing. Thanks for keeping us informed!
